I'll nominate Beyond the Miracle Worker: The Remarkable Life of Anne Sullivan Macy and Her Extraordinary Friendship with Helen Keller.
To warn people about Shirley Jackson: A Rather Haunted Life, I have to put it out there that if you haven't read the majority of Jackson's work, you might want to skip on this one. I tried reading it and had to put it aside because the biography spoils pretty much every twist and ending in her books.
