Short Story contest 2018 is here.

As per tradition, Pakistani Readers will hold a short story competition. It was delayed a bit this year. Get your stories ready. The rules are same as previous years. You can view them here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
There is no specific theme this time, any type of fictional story would do. The word (soft) limit is : 2000-2500.
(Take care of grammatical/spelling mistakes before submission )

You can submit your stories till Sunday, 9th September, 2018.
email your stories to following email id: pakistani.readers@gmail.com

The stories would be posted anonymously by Mods. Group members would be able to read, comment and rate the stories for two weeks. Scale would be 1 to 10. Stories with the highest score would be shortlisted for the FInal Poll.

Authors are not allowed to identify their respective stories till the winner announcement to avoid favoritism/bias in rating.

As always, there would be prize for the winner :)

Stories first, would be submitted at the email and once deadline has ended, only then all stories would be posted at once. we will post links and maybe even broadcast a text about it, so stay tuned! :)

I understand. I was asking where could I read the previous contest's winning stories. If they are already on the board, my search for 'winner' and 'result' doesn't show anything. Perhaps my search terms should be different.

I'm thinking of Editing,lengthening and submitting a story i oince wrote but no promises.

I'm still very new to this writing stuff and don't know if it's Ok or sucks.

Read, comment and rate the stories,
Rating scale would be 1 to 10; members are requested to rate all the stories rather than a selected few to maintain uniformity. try to be objective in your ratings and criticize in a civil manner. :)

Rating process will last till September 25th, 2018.

Authors can reply to comments about their respective stories after the end of the rating process.

PS: Authors are allowed to comment on other stories however, they are expected to add a comment and rating to their own story. (The self rating would not be included in final aggregate score of a story).

Yes smartphone version of GR sucks. Shifting to desktop version helps a lot
