I have two recommendations that go together and can be read in no particular order. "Tweak: Growing up on Methamphetamines" is an outstanding memoir about addiction. The author's father also wrote a memoir titled "Beautiful Boy" about the same series of events written from his perspective. It's fascinating to see how they both recount the same stories coming from such different angles. The dad's memoir has a subtitle that I can't remember at the moment.
I've never heard of this! Adding it to my reading list now :)
Also I just finished "I'll Be Gone in the Dark" about author Michelle McNamara's hunt for the Golden State Killer. Highly recommend to anyone interested in true crime.
Everyone's obssessssssseddddd with this book. They even talked about it on My Favorite Murderer!
