As many mid-term elections are being held this November, I recommend reading Political Dirty Trick, A Crystal Moore Suspense. It's not a political book, but a suspense/thriller set during a campaign for a state governor.
I would like to recommend THE BONE FIELD, which was just featured by Publishers Weekly as having one of the best first lines among recent novels, and as a PW Select Mystery/Thriller. It is a science intrigue wrapped inside a human intrigue, and the first of a trilogy of Iron City Mysteries featuring the PI Harry Przewalski. Great reviews on Amazon.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D4596FY/...
I read the first John Husker detective mystery. It was a great read that has you freezing in the bad weather of Connecticut...The GOLDEN ARMS by G. Franklin Prue
Lincoln lawyer was on my reading list since months , I have been a big fan of Harry bosch series written by Connelly
I've just finished reading One Night Only by G.P. Ritchie. It's an Edinburgh crime fiction novel but with an extra ingredient by way of a splash of metaphysical mystery. I thought it was a really great read. Highly recommended.
