Yeah… OK…” I laugh “Yeah… No, he’s here… Yeah… OK, I’ll tell him… OK, see you soon.” I end the call and look up at Wortham. “You might want to keep that close. I think you’ll get a-”
But before I can finish my sentence the phone rings. “You should answer that.” I say, with my biggest stage smile.
“Wortham. You’re speaking with him… No, she’s still here. I- I what? I… But… No, sir, I’ll take care of it immediately. Yes, sir… Yes, sir… No, sir… Yes, sir… Good day, sir.”
Wortham’s expression had turned from annoyed to grumpy to surprised to scared.
“It seems that you’re leaving us already, Miss Reynolds.” Wortham gulps. “And that you have some, eh, very, uhm, powerful friends.”
Then he turns to Mitch and Stephen. “Please escort Miss Reynolds to the door.”

I’m walking down Main Street to a small cafe. A not too crowded locally owned business.
The girl behind the counter looks at me. “Hi, can I get a caramel latte, please?” I say to her.
With my coffee in hand, I go sit at a table near the back of the store, and open an old newspaper.
“Can I join you?” Amos’ voice disturbers my thoughts. I grunt, and Amos sits.
“It wasn’t Jeffrey, you know.” Says Amos. “Or Tylar, if that’s your second guess. They didn’t do it.”
“Tylar doesn’t have the proper recources to do it.” I say. “And how are you so sure that Jeffrey didn’t?”
“Because I traced the hack. I don’t work for Wortham for my own pleasure.”
“Then why do you do it?”
“Because I’ve been the inside man for quite some time. Apparently their previous translator had to quit. But that’s not the question here and that’s not why I’m here. I’m here because you got set up.”
