Warlocks are half demon half human. Similarly to vampires, warlocks are immortal and cannot have children. If they try, the result is a stillborn. Each warlock has a warlock Mark. It is an inhuman part of them that marks them as a warlock (ex: Magnus Bane's cat eyes) Some unlucky warlocks are born without the ability to use magic, these are called Ifrits. Though they cannot use magic, they still have a warlock's Mark. Warlocks rarely marry, though they occasionally do and can adopt mundane children.
