((look at us guys, fangirling over prison))
((The dungeon one? The one with almost no light source? No barred bars and each cell is simply a four-sides of concrete walls with iron door and small barred window?
Because that's exactly what's in my mind, lol))
Because that's exactly what's in my mind, lol))
(( Same. I imagine the one with flickering lights on the ceiling & it is all stone with iron rods that cross the windows and it is all either iron or stone! ))
For some odd reason Cecily had ended up in the prison. She was suppose to be cleaning the dining hall & prepping it for another meal. But, somewhere she took a wrong turn and ended up here. It was dark, really dark. Cecily couldn't see where she was going so sometimes she'd trip over things. I mean she never expected the prison to be this bad. She saw a quick flash of light and called out, " Hello?"
Cecily turned on her heels and looked around. No one. She looked left & right. No one. " Who is there?" Cecily yelled out. At first she was afraid it could be a prisoner. With no way of telling how to get out she looked around for the light again. Eventually she caught it out of the corner of her eye. " Who has that light?"
Cecily was surprised by the name. Oh god , She thought to herself. Not him again. " Well, um..this is Cecily. I'm a maid. I just got lost." She announced. Her little heels were clanking against the stone floor. Cecily didn't listen to Casper and began to move toward the light.
" Why, hello." Cecily said as she grabbed the flashlight from Casper's hand. A smile crossed her face. She just stole a guards flashlight. The sound of her clanking heels started again as she walked towards a door. Whenever she opened it the only thing she found was another room filled with chains & keys & locks. A frown crossed her face as she fiddle with the flashlight again. This time the flashlight showed Casper. " Well, nothing there. Got any ideas?" She asked curiously.
" Just cleaning the blood of the last victims." Cecily teased. The flashlight was still in her hand when she asked. Then frowned. " I'm not following you." After she said those words she began to walk away, leaving Casper in the dark. She opened another door to find a staircase leading up into a hallway. It wasn't what she wanted because it just leading up to another hallway of cells.
Cecily heard Casper mutter something and made out the words. " You're a smart one" She said bluntly as she walked into the next hallway. " There we go." Cecily said as she found an exit. The door barely budged as she put her whole weight into it. Nothing. She said a few unladylike words and pushed on it harder this time. Nothing.
(( Okay! ))" Okay, Sherlock." Cecily said seriously. " Lets try this one." With that she stopped leaning against that door and walked to a different one. Luckily this one wasn't locked but it was just another closet. " How big is this place? The prison I mean. Wait, I forgot. You would need a map to know that." You couldn't see her smile in the darkness as she used the flashlight to find another door. Cecily leaned against it. This one moved. It wasn't locked it was just stiff.
Cecily frowned. " I'd slap you but that'd be animal abuse." She teased as she climbed another set of narrow stairs. This time they were only on level 3. By now Cecily was tired.
" I can manage." Cecily said as she found the next set of stairs. So close to the exit, she said to herself. Level 4 was by far the scariest. The cells were more compact and she swore blood stains covered the old fabric on those wooden bunk bed frames that were pushed up against the wall in the cells. Chains scattered the floor. How dreadful.
" Yeah. " Cecily insisted. Before she knew it she was climbing a ladder and hoisting herself into the kitchen. Luckily, no one but the old nearly blind cook was in there. She straightened out her maids outfit and looked at the clock. Dinner was in 5 minutes. Cecily needed to hurry. The first thing she needed to do was take a shower, then get a new outfit, and deliver all the food she could to the dining hall. She sure was tired.
" I'm good." Cecily said then she ran down the hallway and into her room. She didn't even say thanks. I must admit Cecily is a independent brat who hates giving anyone else credit when you get to know her. After leaving her room she took a quick 2 minute shower & changed into another identical traditional maids outfit. Whenever she got back into the kitchen more food has been made. She grabbed 4 trays, 2 on each arm. The trays included ham, toast, turkey, & salad. Cecily mouth watered but soon she'd be eating soup along with the other staff.
"Gosh darn it." Cecily yelled. "I don't have shoes." The weird texture of concrete and bumps as well as some dry liquid was on her feet. She squinted in the light and looked at the familiar place. Something was different. Something was off. More screams came.
"No." Cecily demanded, after she slid on the shoes. Then she walked pompously in front of him. "Wheres the room? We don't gotta walk far now do we?" She had horrible english but if she needed to be she could be proper.((So many stalkers. ))
((This is scary. I'm gonna run adorably. C= C= C= C= C=┌(;・ω・)┘))
((XD))Cecily heard screams as she stomped loudly on the floor. The shoes were to big and cold against her toes. She gripped the flashlight tightly.
"Okay, now tell me where to go." Her voice was shaking but yet brave.
She was happy and scared all at once.
The screams got louder as Cecily walked over to the door. "Alright, open it." She took a step to the front of the door that shielded her from what lied beyond it.
Whenever Cecily stepped in she saw a hallway. Doors lined the narrow space. Pounding and yells came from behind. She caught a slight glance of someones hair on the top of their head. The people behind the doors were alive and starving...and prisoners. It was a great way to get scared for life. "Casper..." She began but her words got lost in the screams and yells and demands and words. Before moving forward she grabbed Casper's hand and fought back tears of fright.
Cecily let tears leak, silent tears of sadness and mourning for the people. "Um-do you, like, want to leave...or continue going?" She wanted to keep going, but at the same time not. " I'll keep going if you do. Or maybe we should explore different parts of this place. Not the real cells that are used." Half of her words couldn't be heard, though.
"Lets go investigate somewhere else." Cecily said as her body shivered constantly. Then she turned on her heels getting free of Casper, and hoped he'd follow her. "I really want to get out of here." She was starting to get really cold down in that prison. Whenever she didn't see Casper in the darkness she shined the light on him. Then she went back to where he was and walked with him. "What do you mean you've seen worse." Her voice was light and crackly.
Cecily followed Casper to the wall after he finished talking and gave him a hug. It was a light hug, one you could nearly not even feel. When she stopped she slumped against the wall, too. "That makes me feel better." She said, seriously. "You were just like me." Her thoughts lingered to the old days. "I was a seven."
"Yeah." Cecily answered, kind of sad. "They got married into better castes. Even my younger sister." Talking about her family actually made her happy. The thought of all her beautiful siblings and parents. The entire family, including Cecily, was gorgeous and had blonde hair. She was the only one who had grey eyes though.
"They were grand people. All of them married idiots though. Their husbands treated them nice and all but they weren't very smart." Cecily continued. In the distance faint screams could be heard. Her head laid against the cold wall and her outfit was stained with blood and ash. "I visited them a lot until my mother and father died." Talking about the death of her parents made her kind of uncomfortable with someone she only knew for a month now but she went on anyway. Even in the darkness her friend could probably tell she was slightly hesitant about opening up. "Thats pretty much it." There was more to her story, but sharing wasn't her thing.
"I should've. There were people of castes 3 and 2's that would've married me because of my sisters reputation. I was just so young. To young." Cecily said, sadly. "I nearly dated this guy, a 2. He was nice but didn't really understand what life meant. Handsome, sweet, rich, what more could I have asked for? I was to clueless I guess. I don't really want to get married, actually." She sighed and slid down the wall with Casper. A smile crossed her face as she patted his back playfully, like an awkward friend pat, before holding his hand out of fright. "This place is creepy." She said, a smile still on her face.
"It is just a lot of responsibility." Cecily replied truthfully. She smiled when her blushed. The flashlight was still on so she could see it. "Can I ask you a question?" A smile crossed her face.
"Do you want to get married one day to someone?" Cecily asked. A smile crossed her face slightly wider than before. Her thin legs were short and she couldn't see her toes. The flashlight was flickering on and off. The battery must be low.
Cecily couldn't help but laugh. Then she did the unexpected. She kissed Casper on the cheek. "Thats nice." Her voice was cheerful. "What do you think she'll look like." She was close to Casper still and her voice was a whisper. Deep down she hoped he said that the girl had gray eyes and blonde hair.
Cecily was shocked by the answer and Casper's actions but was happy about them. Tears streamed down her eyes and she squeezed his hand tightly as he kissed her. Her eyes were closed and she was very peaceful and calm. Oh. My. Gosh. I-I-Oh my gosh. Who knew a prison trip could be so wonderful. She gently kissed him back before releasing.
It took a while for Cecily to answer the question. It took ever thing in her to find the right answer. Words slipped her mouth." Casper, what do you want us to be? I already know what I want." She said, desperate for him to say what she wanted him to say.
The thing she wanted for them could be read in her eyes. The flashlight was dim, but had enough light for her to see her handsome Casper's face. It was hard to talk after what happened but she had so many things to say. Also, Cecily had some explaining to do.
Cecily kissed Casper on the cheek, a little harder but still gently, again. "I'd love that." Her voice was positive and confident but still in a whisper. Before saying her next statement, which may've been the most important thing she ever said, she paused.
"I love you."
There was nothing more she could've ever wished for. She wanted him to say he loved her too and somehow she had a feeling he would. Just incase he didn't she had to ask.
"What do you feel about me? Do-do-you-l-"She couldn't finish her sentence.
Her eyes were charming and filled with life. As his thumb ran over her knuckles she felt comfortable.
"Soon." Cecily said calmly after Casper took his finger off her lips. "I'm not going to call you boyfriend, okay? I like your name to much." For a while she stayed on the floor. She was kind of tired. Cecily knew it would be a long night. Sewing one of the dresses was going to fill her agenda until two o'clock, but that came after the important things.
Cecily thought of flowers and the bouquet Casper gave her came to mind."Those flowers were beautiful." She said. "I want a hybrid flower named after me. Maybe you can write about me in your flower diary."
She stood up then. Even when Casper was sitting he was up to her knees when she was standing.
Cecily walked in harmony with Casper. The thought of prisoners flashed in her mind."Casper?" She asked gracefully as she stopped walking and faced him.
Her eyes were open then and she looked messy. Her blonde hair was crazy and her outfit was stained red and black for eternity. This time her voice was nearly not able to hear, but she thought he could.
"What'll happen to them?" Cecily asked. "Also, do you want your shoes back?" Her feet were really hot now. The ceiling dripped with water and dried liquid and chains splattered the floor. She was really tired and didn't want to walk. Her eyes were nearly closed but Cecily still needed to make that dress when she got out of there. Then she thought about all the funny features Casper had. He loved flowers and could sew. Also, had a diary type thing.
Cecily didn't know what to say. The ladder was only about 5 feet away but she didn't want to touch that floor."Okay," She replied calmly. Unlacing the ties, she sighed. It was dark and the flashlight went out. "Um, Casper, where are you? I can't see."
"You make me feel very short." Cecily said teasingly. He was probably a foot talker than her. She grabbed his hand and gripped it hard."Heres your shoes." The boots were in her other hand and she was on her tippy toes. "You can pick me up now." Her toes felt disgusted and she wanted off the ground.
Cecily "climbed" aboard. "Did I hurt my poor Casper's feelings?" She teased. "I can't stay nice for to long, you know. I've gotta work on that dress for her royal snobbiness."
Really, she wanted to crawl into bed and get back up in the morning and go deliver the dress she made then go spend her afternoon with Casper. She hoped that he had a break at one o'clock because she did.
