E L L E (lacustrine_dreams) Rixon plunged into the forest moments later, his feet bounding over the soft earth as he entered the shelter of the trees. He felt safer as the light dimmed and the smells of the forest enveloped him. As he hurdled a fallen log Roscoe's shrill voice sounded up at the house. Rixon froze at the sound, losing his footing and going sprawling into the grass. Mud streaked across his nose and Rixon hastily got to his knees, wiping at his face as the sounds of footsteps alerted him to Beckham's approach. Snarling low under his breath Rixon glared through the trees, eyes flashing golden as the wolf finally began to take over.

As Rixon moved to get to his feet once again the burning heat seared through his body and he doubled over, crippled by the agony of his wolf breaking free. Taking short sharp breath Rixon slipped his shirt from over his head, not wanting to be left unclothed when the transformation came to an end. A feral snarl ripped from between his teeth as he clenched his jaw, digging his nails into the earth as the pain surged through him. He only hoped Beckham and Cobie would hold Roscoe back, he didn't want her to see this.

Kayleigh (kayleighkingwrites) The only thing that Roscoe could hear as she ran into the woods was the sound of her beating heart. After she'd seen Beckham dash into the wood she hadn't hesitated to run after him. She could here the calls from Cobie as she left the safety of the driveway, but she didn't stop. She knew the Cobie would be on her heels soon. Roscoe didn't know what she was going to find when she caught up to Beck and Rixon. She feared that Rixon's wolf may be in a feral state and try to cause harm to Beck, or even herself. She knew that deep down, Rix was still in there and she was just praying that he wouldn't let the wolf attack her.

Beckham made it to a large clearing and halted. Near the outskirts, Rixon stood tearing her shirt off and crouching down in pain. He knew from personal experience that he was about to shift. Beckham slowly walked towards the shifting wolf shifter. He didn't want to spook him, but he wanted to create a barrier between the wolf and the incoming Roscoe. Beckham could hear her feet pounding into the soil as she ran towards them. As he predicted, once Roscoe made it to the clearing, she started to Run to Rixon. She tried to dodge Beckham but he was faster and he swooped her up. Holding her tightly to his Chest.

"No! I want to help!" Roscoe shouted and thrashed in his arms like the true fighter she was. "Please Let me go to him!"

E L L E (lacustrine_dreams) Rixon snarled low in his throat, his jaw aching as the canines extended and the deep howling sound of wolf sprung from his lips. He gasped as his spine stretched, cracking and snapping as the bones reformed, changing shape to match that of his wolf. Through his blurring golden vision Rixon could just make out Roscoe, fighting against Beckham's restraint. His gaze turned a little red at that, though his anger was unnecessary. Rixon knew he could hurt her if she got too close, especially now whilst his wolf was breaking free and he was dangerous, volatile. A low whine escaped his lips as the torture continued and the transformation took hold. Great claws extended from his fingertips, coarse fur began to form along his back and in seconds his human shape was gone. Replaced by the huge rust coloured wolf.

The Rixon snapped his jaws, shaking out the rough bronze fur as he got used to his wolf body once again. Everything was still blurry through the golden haze of his eyes and he was hungry, a deep, feral hunger that could only be sated with raw meat. He shook his great head, golden eyes flickering to Beckham and Roscoe. He could hear the steady beat of their hearts, one faster than the other and the warmth that came from their bodies. The wolf snarled, huge paws padding over the earth as it took a tentative step towards them.
