I personally was already reading a stack of books which unfortunately didn't fit any of the requirements for this challenge. I am looking forward to next months challenge (if there is one) I will plan better since my stack of 6 has became just a book. I'll keep an eye out for the required tasks for the next challenge. :D
Hi Stephanie - We do the challenge every other month, so the next one will be in November. Maybe I’ll start posting a little earlier so people have time to plan.

3. A book with a teacher as a mc - River Town: Two Years on the Yangtze by Peter Hessler, completed 9/14/18 (he's a literature teacher)
4. A book set in the 1970's orabout video games. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, 9/16/18
5. A book where the mc is an artist - Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner, 9/21/18
6. A book with wife on the cover - The Salaryman's Wife by Sujata Massey, 9/25/18
7. A book with an apple on the cover - Apples Are from Kazakhstan: The Land That Disappearedby Christopher Robbins, 9/22/18

Welcome to our September challenge! Below are listed 7 tasks that relate to September holidays. Please feel free to complete one or all seven.
Rules:
✒︎ You may choose how many tasks you’d like to complete from 1 to all 7.
✒︎ Each task can only be completed once and each book can only be used for 1 task.
✒︎ Books must be at least 150 pages long.
✒︎ Any book format may be used: physical, electronic, audio.
✒︎ For audio pages just use the first edition of the book that pops up when you do a search for the book.
✒︎ All books must be started and finished within the challenge month.
Tasks:
8th - International Literacy Day
~Read a book about books or a book set in a library
9th - Children´s Day (Costa Rica, additional dates other locations)
~Read a middle grade book or a book with a child (or children) as a main character
10th - Teachers' Day (China, additional dates other locations)
~Read a book set in a school or with a teacher/professor as the main character
12th - National Video Game Day
~Read a book involving video games or set in the 1970s. (The first commercially available video game and the first game system to use removable cartridges to play different games on one system were both released in the 1970s.)
15th - International Dot Day
~Read a book with a dot(s) on the cover or a book where the mc is some sort of artist (writer, painter, sculptor, etc)
16th - Wife Appreciation Day
~Read a book with “wife” in the title
26th - Johnny Appleseed Day
~Read a book with an apple on the cover
