Read Your Face Off Book Club discussion

This section was very triggering for personal reasons. What a difficult part to get through. I knew there was a rape scene in here so I did some mental preparation knowing how it would be hard for me to read. I finally connected with a character but not in the way I was hoping to. I feel so bad for Maya.

This was a difficult section to read, for obvious reasons. But I think it was well done.

We learned some things about Benji which are interesting and I’m keen to see how that plays out.

I feel for Maya, and I can already feel the tension building. This is going to have a wide impact when the truth comes out.

Wow. I agree, this was a very difficult section to get through and I am in pieces for Maya. I don’t even know what to say....

Backman has written this story so well. Wow wow wow.
