I just started reading the beginning of this book. I looked ahead and 30 pages or so in it seems like the book officially starts. Im confused what the beginning of the book is. The writing is confusing me and i have no clue whats going on. Anyone care to explain lol

The beginning is basically an interview between Kimrean and the San Francisco police trying to figure out what happened at AZ's office. The way it's written certainly makes it a little harder to follow, but it basically just serves a prologue into the rest of the story.
I finally figured it all out! Thank you. I appreciate the response!
