How did your thoughts about Frank and Josie evolve as you read the book?

Dana makes only a brief appearance in the book but her existence drives the plot.

Why do you think Pekkanen made that choice? How do you think the book would have changed if Dana was a main character?

When Frank breaks down and tells Josie about his feelings prior to the affair, she thinks that if she had known, she would have helped him.

Would she?

I have my doubts considering the flashback of her trip to the mall with the girls. It seems like she's barely hanging on herself.
