DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THESE BOOKS. The Harry Potter series is what got me into reading in the first place. I've read the books at least four times.

As much as I love the series(favorite ever), I kink of hope she isn't working on more Harry Potter books. Books, set in that universe and involving characters we know from HP, sure, but I feel like The Harry Potter story ended so well that adding more couldn't really do it justice.

If I were Rowling, I wouldn't want to detract from the initial series since it was such a monster success. But I can definitely see the next generation of little Harrys, Hermiones, and Rons heading off to Hogwarts. The door is wide open.

After reading and enjoying a couple of the James Potter books, which were fan fiction, but very well done, I think I'd rather see her write about Hogwarts pre-Harry than post-Harry, personally.
Show James and/or Lily(imagine alternating POV for those two) getting their letters and coming to the school. We could see the evolution of their relationship with Snape/Sirius/Peter P./Lupin, see how James got the invisibility cloak, their inventing the Marauder's Map, their discovery of their animagi forms, etc.
Those are books I'd love to read.
Also, books on Tom Riddle's and Hagrid's time at Hogwarts, which, I believe, would be a little while before the Marauder's years.

I know! I'm hoping for it.
