This book.... Loved it so much!! Unfortunately, my copy is a pretty bad looking ARC :P Considering buying it in hardcover sometime.. :)
The hardcover of Eleanor & Park is on Book Outlet, so there is an awesome discount on it!

No problem. I'm a big fan of discounts, so when I see them, I take advantage of them!

I really liked this book, it is one of my favorites. I've also read attachments, and it's quite an improvement from that, although it isn't in the same genre
I really liked Eleanor and Park. I just had soooo many unanswered questions at the end. I hate being torn between wanting to know more, but not wanting to disturb the ending.

My favorite Rainbow book is actually Attachments. I just felt like there was so much more raw emotion in it and that it was beautifully written. Eleanor & Park is my second favorite of hers, though. I liked that it was also emotional, and I think it's a great story for teens to read because of everything in it.

I think I'm going to be in the minority on this one. I didn't get the relationship that just blossomed from Eleanor and Park. It felt half-baked to me. It was insta-love pretending not to be. I think the hype really raised my expectation for this book, which is why I was extremely disappointed. There were just too much stuff going around Eleanor and Park, that I couldn't focus on what the author was really trying to focus on. Does that make sense? Sorry. I'm kind of rambling here.I really wanted to like it, but like they say, maybe this book was just not for me. :(
I read about 50% of this book then set it down and never picked it up again.. it wasn't bad but ehh.
I was disappointed. There was just so much hype about this book and it failed to deliver for me.I kinda wanted to leave it in between, but I finished it anyway.
I love Eleanor and Park so much. I am not one to go and buy books (I know, dishonor on me) and I went shopping for Christmas and bought my (first) two books, one of them being Eleanor and Park. I think Park introduced Eleanor to a whole new world and showed her that there was more to being bullied and treated horribly, even in her own family she was not treated the best.
