Discuss the Twilight Saga here.

Jessica I really liked this series. My favorite book was Eclipse.
Sometimes Bella was annoying though like (view spoiler)

My mum is totally in love with this series and we both like vampire fiction so she's told me quite a bit about it. My sister feels the same way about the Artemis Fowl series so when I started reading that for her, my mum said I'd have to read Twilight for her. So yeah, I'm going to read it soon.

I started the first movie once but gave up on it because I found it boring. My mum promises the book is more entertaining - here's hoping!

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 318 comments I'm pretty much neutral to the series. I didn't dislike any of the books, but I didn't love any either. Although, Eclipse was a shockingly good book and movie IMO, and I did not like how the series ended at all.

I just can't read them. My sister begged me to try them, so I attempted to read them, but I felt like I read the same paragraph multiple times because she repeats pretty much everything.

Yeah, well I was never expecting to love them, lol.

Lillian Graves (LillianGraves) | 1 comments I read all four books, but I agree with the above that it got repetitive. It definitely taught me to switch things up and throw some curve balls in my writing so it wasn't as predictable or sluggish in parts.

message 8: by Nikita (new)

Nikita I couldn't get pass chapter five in the first book before I fell asleep. It's hard for me to see what my sister sees in this series. She loves it. I like the movies but the books, count me out.

Hey... you read more than I did. I think I read three paragraphs before throwing it at my sister.

I think this is my favorite comment because it perfectly sums up my views on things I don't care for. I'm an aspiring writer myself who wants to work in a lot of medias(books, comics, screenplays, etc.) so every time I see something I dislike I ask myself "What would I do to make it better?"

Definitely. It's so cool to see authors switch it up, even if they just genre hop. Like right now, I'm super excited to read Lauren Oliver's adult book just because it's something new for her. But it is so much more interesting to see it done within a book or series.

message 13: by Paige (new)

Paige I have! I gave it a review as well if u wanna read it!

message 14: by Paige (new)

Paige I also think that Twilight is good, I enjoyed it, but over time it did get boring. I kinda knew what was going to happen, it was predictable. And yeah Bella is like realllyyyyy annoying! Ahhhh. Then I read Midnight Sun and oh my gosh it was good at first seeing Edward's perspective, but it just dragged on!

I'm reading it right now! I liked "Twilight", but "New Moon" and "Eclipse" were boring. "Breaking Dawn" was better though. All in all, a pretty good series but repetitive at times.
