Jeffery This summer has been amazing for the heavy hitters of Urban Fantasy . New books from Jim Butcher, Kevin Hearne, Kim Harrison and Patricia Briggs all in their flagship series, and new stuff from Ilona Andrews, Seanan McGuire and a ton of others in new series.

They are definitely all still favorites of mine, but I was thinking it might be cool to have a place to tell each other about great books/series we found that probably won't end up best sellers. Maybe a title caught your attention when browsing the .99 cent titles on Amazon, maybe you got an ARC from a friend of a friend for some self published ebook that's about to come out. Maybe you came across something in a thrift store that was popular forty years ago, and needs to be rediscovered.

It doesn't have to be one of a kind, but if you think we might not have heard of it, let us know!

I guess it's only fair for me to go first. If you get a chance, check out Sharp Teeth by Toby Barlow . It's a fast paced read about werewolves in LA, and it's one of those maligned books that can be had for a cent plus shipping on amazon. My biggest complaint with it was that it is a one-off

You're turn ^_^
