Opposition discussion

I just finished reading this and I'm sad to see Katy and Daemon go. This series is amazing and I can't believe this is the end. I think Jennifer L. Armentrout should do a spin-off series about Beth and Dawson's baby. I really don't want the stories about the Luxen and Arum to end. I will gladly except anything else she can come up with, even a movie. I know a movie wouldn't be as good but I still need to find a way to hold on to them a little longer. Anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

I totally agree and will take anything I can get, but I believe there are plenty of stories that can still be told about Katy & Daemon. I want to spend more time with them in happy non-stressed situations. I just really hate to see them go..... I truly loved this series.

I am hoping, down the road, that Jennifer will write another book in the series. We didn't even get to enjoy the wedding that was mentioned numerous times throughout the book. Sigh.

I was hoping for spin off or a book that was just Dee and Archer :)

But now I need a new alien series, any suggestions?

I think she might eventually write another book or series about Dawson's and Beth's baby. There were way to many hints in the epilogue about her being special, plus the little line about how the Luxen might one day come back (which is probably unrelated, but who knows...)

I've heard that an Obsidian movie is coming... but YES, I would LOVE more books. It hasn't been two weeks since I finished the book and already I miss the sassiness of the characters and I MISS DAEMON...

I never wanted this to end either so I hope we get a spinoff series. My one regret is that we all didn't get to see Katy and Daemon wedding with their love ones. I genuinely believe that there should be a spin off series for Luc and then it should have like, endless Katy and Daemon cameos. That would be so fun to read and I wouldn't be upset about never reading anything new about them again.

I completely agree with having a spin off series.... any of them would be great to me.. Luc, Dee and Archer, or even Ashley when shes grown up or something. That would be awesome !!

I really enjoyed this series but I was a Lil confused with opposition. Wasn't sadi a female origin?? At the end it says Ashley (Beth and Dawson's baby) was special because she was the only female origin... Or did I get this wrong... I don't have the book itself since I bought the audio book so its hard to go back and reread/relisten to this book and double check... Could someone clear this up for me?? Am I missing something??

Yeah Sadi was a female Origin. I guess maybe they just meant there are a lot less female Origins so they were surprised Ashley was a girl?!? I dunno...

hey can anyone tell me the quote for opposition where katy was trying to keep her thoughts from her Archer....It was something along the lines of katy thinking of naked dancing babies (i think) and Archer say "The Hell?" I'd like to know how the whole quote went if anybody can remember! Thanks!

I'm not sure how the whole quote goes but i know the basic idea of it. Katy was hungry and archer said that he showed them where the mess hall was and that they (Katy and Daemon) had enough time to eat. Katy remembered why she didn't get a chance to eat and was embarrassed so she thought of the naked dancing babies so Archer wouldn't read her mind.

i feel like there's a lot of opportunity for spin offs if she were to have the inkling to do it. think about it - we have the one story from Dawson's POV but there's more that we could do with them now. and then there's Hunter and Serena.

i just wonder though, given how the story ended for Kat and Daemon - not having to register, that can't hold forever - so i wonder if there's even still an opportunity for them down the road to have another story - and then to maybe decide that they are mature enough to have an origin of their own.

What were some of the books called, that were Katy's favorites? They mentioned some of them in the first or second book I think. But, I can't remember what they're called.

I know JLA referenced the sweet series by wendy higgins in like 3rd or 4th book. Thats where their fake names came from. Kaiden Rowe is hot.

Didn't care too much for Beth and Dawson but I love Dee and Archer and would love to read about them more!

I actually just started Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins, which is the book used in The Lux series for Daemon and Katy's fake names. Loving it so far, and it is filling my sad void! :)

I was just kidding. Partially. It's true that I still can't believe it's come to an end. I guess if I don't get more Katy and Demon is a year I will realize the situation eventually.

I really hope she makes some kind of spin off so I can just see(read about) daemon again!

I have to agree that I'm lost without them but I tend to find when things come out just to prolong it; it usually doesn't meet the expectations. So I just plan on rereading the series and then rereading again of my favorite scenes! But I understand everyone because I love Katy and Daemon (mostly Daemon's remarks) and do want more but at the same time I don't want to be let down.
