I haven't seen any activity from this group so I thought I might try to 'get the ball rolling' :)

What are people reading at the moment? What genre's are people's favourites?

Hi, HMC. I'm reading a Dennis Lehane mystery now, called "Darkness, Take My Hand". At the same time, "Game Change", about the 2008 election. I'm big on thrillers, history, mainstream fiction, and a little bit of sci-fi. How about you?

I like reading most genres - my favourites are sci-fi and history, oh and biographies. At the moment I'm reading "The Chronicles of the Maya Kings and Queens" and "A lifetime to Die". And I am about to start reading "John Wayne:American"

Have you read "The Last Policeman" trilogy by Ben H. Winters? It's part mystery and part sci-fi, and all great. The 3rd book just came out last month, and it's at the top of my to-read list.
Also, I'm in a book club that meets at Brixx Ice Co. once a month, and they focus on sci-fi and similar books. If you're on Facebook, look for "Pub-Lit", if you're interested.

I haven't read that yet, and thanks for telling me about the book club. I'll take a look at it - who can say no to food and books?
