The story of a pseudo-mid-life crisis was intriguing, but it lacked any emotional depth to me. The whole thing was too woe is me. Even the end, felt resentful more than actual emotional growth. The whole thing was one note for me and that note was flat.

One thing I will say - man, it makes me feel like I am in college again! This book is probably what it sounded like in my head those 4 years. So, not the mid-life crisis part, but the rest - nostalgia! Still reading, but that is how I feel so far.

Finally finished - I can start discussing more - and looking at other's reviews!

I’m halfway through it. Might finish it next weekend. I think it’s a kind of a Bridget Jones Diary for guys.

I never read or saw Bridget Jones Diary - is it good?

I haven’t read the book but saw the film and it’s actually kind of funny. Bridget’s character mainly.

I could have liked this a lot more if I had read it, let’s say, twenty years ago. Happy this was an easy read and it wasn’t a page longer.

Oh yeah, if I read this in college, I probably would have carried it around like a bible and quoted it like crazy!
