He´s not around any more. Much to the loss of the American art scene.Eward Hopper RIP. There, now I am back in his graces and hopefully yours.
He´s one of the greats.



The younger of two children in an educated middle-class family, ____________ was encouraged in ___ intellectual and artistic pursuits and by the age of 5 was already exhibiting a natural talent. ___ continued to develop ___ abilities during grammar school and high school, working in a range of media and forming an early love for impressionism and pastoral subject matter.
Having completed ___ studies, ______________ found work as an illustrator for an advertising agency. Although ___ found the work creatively stifling and unfulfilling, it would be the primary means by which ___ would support ________while continuing to create ___ own art.
But despite a flourishing career as an illustrator, ________ struggled to find any real interest in ___ own art. However, with the arrival of the new decade came a reversal of fortune.
At last able to support ____________ with ___ art, during the second half of ___ life _____________ produced ___ greatest, most lasting work, painting side by side with {spouse} on one of their frequent trips to {home} or abroad.
With the rise of abstract expressionism _____________’s popularity waned. In spite of this, ___ continued to create quality work and receive critical acclaim.
Several years later ___ was the subject of a Time magazine cover story, and in {year} {President's wife} chose ___ work {painting} to be displayed in the White House.
