So here we are with another group read! So this time, I was wondering if we could update weekly or whenever you come across something interesting in the book on this thread. If any of you have done a buddy read in the YA buddy readers group, you know what I mean. But if you haven't, we're going to set it up like this:

Did you enjoy it? I mean it was entertaining but...
Is it a new favourite? No, definitely not.
Who would recommend this series for? Nobody, only because I can list a dozen books like this that are better and I'd recommend those instead.
Will you continue the series? Probably not.
What did you think of the writing? Honestly? Kind of cringey.
What did you think of the characters? For me, they fell flat. Theo was kind of an exception but still not my favourite...
What did you think of the world? The world was good, not gonna lie
Favourite character? Can't think of one
Least favourite character? The Kaiser (because pervy fat old men, I can live without)
Would you reread it? No

I started to read the Ash Princess but then I sat it down last month and haven't finished it. I think I will add this to my tbr for next month so I can finish it. I probably was only 20% in.
