I believe I saw it. But yes, it would fit my criteria.
A photographer friend from Boston and I listed over 50 films. We were both surprised to see so many.
I saw another one last nite. Amelie, by the French director Jeunot. Laughed my head off on that one. The plots centers around those amusement park passport photo booths and the intrigue of Amelie in finding her perfect mate.

On TV here last Saturday: Bridges of Madison County. Clint Eastwood playing a National Geographic photographer.I saw it when it came out in the 90's, but remember thinking it was OK.
Good add on Dirk. I wouldn´t have thought of BMC. And of course Rear Window. Then there´s the flic with Robin Williams as the photographic lab technician.
I'm not sure if this one fits Geoffrey's criterion because it's more about a TV crew and crime journalism.
Jake Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko & Brokeback Mountain)
is very good as main character.
Pretty creepy, but very good movie !
