(( Sure! ))Louise opened the fence to her horses stable and let him lose. She brushed him out and put on a saddle. Luckily, she found her riding clothing so she could ride in style. Maybe this would get her mind off what happened with William & Echo. Her horse was a chocolate brown with light brown hair. She put a white saddle on her then began to ride on a trail. Her horse was going slow which made her enjoy the scenery & surroundings. She, the horse, jumped over a little river & then made a turn into the forest. No many people know about this back here, only 2 guards surround it. She nods to them as she passes them then continues to ride along. (( Have to go ))
Louise was deep into the trail now. Her horse was being kind and loving as usual and every once in a while she'd stop the horse to look at a beautiful sight. She smiled at those and lost the memory of William & Echo. So much joy filled her that she forgot about everything but the riding. A few more guards were up ahead, patrolling as usual. They weren't usually there but after a rebel attach it would make scene. No one else was riding today which made it like a personal trail. It was now 10 minutes since she began riding and she wasn't close to the end of the trail so she wouldn't have to retreat to the palace, where William was. Eventually, she stopped the horse again to look out at the woods beyond. The woods where she was lost a few days ago. She didn't hate it in the wild. Maybe, it would be fun to do it again. That thought flipped threw her head. Eventually, she decided she would one day. Maybe not today, maybe tomorrow I'll run away.
" Yes, it is me." Louise called out as she stopped riding and turned around to see Alia. " Just who I needed to talk to." She was smiling now by the sight of Alia & hoped she could keep a secret.
" Life is horrible, currently." Louise admitted. " Family things. Can you keep a secret? Like a huge secret? A secret that could mean life or death between people?" Her plan was to tell Alia what happened. She needed to tell someone or else she might go crazy. The horse was in a white saddle to match her white top and white riding shoes along with her white nails. White was her color. " Can you?"
" Alright." Louise began. " Well, I saw William do something wrong. It was with Echo. They, were-" Tears filled her eyes as she spat out " -doing something romantic. " Her eyes were teary but not crying.
" I told William he couldn't be with her and now he hates me. Echo is the love of his life. I'll never, ever be important to anyone again. Phillip is my moms favorite. Dad is never around. Peter, well, he is him. And me I'm the Royal who wasn't even meant to be born. I shouldn't be here. I shouldn't. If no one needs me I shouldn't be here. You should only live for others." Louise spat out. " I'm worthless now. William was the only one I lived for now he is done with me. It'll never be the same."
((What can we say, Peter is socially awkward. And there is no way we're gonna let Louise finds out about Paudrey.))
Melisquish wrote: "((...she's not allowed to find out about Paudrey.))"((I agree and am very concerned for Wecho now that Alia knows O.o))
" Yeah, we could do that. But, first I have to go." Louise said as she trotted away on the horse. The grass was tall around the trail & the sun was still high. " Goodbye, Alia." She called back. Louise was off to explain to William.
A few guards leaned up against the stables, slightly off guard. When royals or selected girls weren't around they were kind of laid back, so were the maids. After finishing making some of her dress for the ball Cecily decided a break was needed. But, when she got to the stables it was a mess. Luckily, a closet of supplies was unlocked so she got out some cleaning supplies.
Susena was already in one of the stalls, scrubbing it. It was her horse's after all. Or at least she considered it to be. It wasn't any of the Royals' horse, and none of the selected girls liked to ride him, so he was hers. She tried to come and ride him every day, and made it her special task to make sure his stall was always in prime condition.
Cecily began to rinse down one of the stables that was for a horse named Honey, who was currently roaming in the tall grass. Her favorite horse was Beauty. She was a tall horse with white hair and a long shaggy hair. Beauty was a beautiful horse, explains the name, and liked Cecily. About once to twice a week she'd ride her, or at least try. Before rinsing it down Cecily swept all the hay out of it so she wouldn't waste any.
The horse's name was Chestnut, and he had beautiful golden brown hair. She brushed it every day, of course. She finally finished scrubbing the floor, and got to her feet to get him some more hay.
After that stable was done Cecily went on to the next one but found a maid was already in there. A smile crossed her face. "Hello." Her voice was "nice". Then she waited a few beats. "I don't believe we've meant before, have we?"
"Hm?" She looked up to see a maid standing on the doorway. "No, I don't believe we have. I've heard of you, though. You're Cecily, correct? The one who was recently promoted to be the Queen's maid?"
Cecily was slightly shocked that the word got out that fast. "Yes, I am." She said, proudly. "What about you?"
Her face had a grin going from her right ear to her left ear.
"Susena." She replied. She was interested in finding out why this girl had been promoted to the queen's maid. Everyone knew why Lilliana had been promoted, the poor dear. She'd been so upset over her selected girl dying that she would have been useless if she'd been given to another. And everyone felt sorry for the poor orphan.
"Interesting." Cecily said. She stood there looking at the girl. Istead of wearing her usual attire she fished out an old outfit that was still in good shape but wasn't traditional for riding. It was almost all white and went a little, about 2 inches, below her knee. "How has your day been?"
"Very eventful." Cecily replied simply. Short and sweet answers always got were better in her mind. She yawned a little bit and looked to her side. Some guards were chatting. Nothing unusual.
"Ah. How so?" She asked, returning to arranging the hay on the floor. Her day hadn't been terribly exciting at all, and she wondered what had made Cecily's so.
"Just stuff." Cecily coughed up. She sat on the ground that was covered in a thick layer of fresh hay so no dirt got on her. "What have you been up to, in here? Taking a break?" She knew that after the event of the death of Alia she would give the queen some space so she found some things to do around the house. Making new gowns, sweeping, dusting, just doing overall maid things filled her agenda besides her breaks.
"Okay." Cecily's voice was blank as she spoke. "Well, this is awkward."She began to whistles to the tune of a song she heard on the radio. It was a graceful tune but had a little bit of a creepy vibe.
"Yes, it is," she replied, unconcerned as she continued sorting damp hay from dry hay. The song was disconcerting, but she didn't really mind all that much.
"Aren't you going to go ride?" Cecily questioned. Her whistling went on until a guard gave her an odd look. So, she just hummed to it instead. She walked slowly away to where the saddles for the horses laid. Each had their own compartment with their name labeled on it. She then grabbed Beauty's saddle and brought it over to a wooden built in table and began to mix soap and water. She was going to clean the saddle.
((I don't know how to clean a saddle so I am just guessing..do you even clean saddles? I'm not even sure. xD))
She watched the other maid walk away, and continued with her sorting.
((Ummmmm no clue xD
Doesn't water ruin leather or something, though?))
((Ummmmm no clue xD

((Umm...........xD.....))Cecily used a sponge to soap down the steel parts of the saddle. She knew that water ruined leather so didn't plan on doing anything to the leather. Continuing to clean it down she day dreamed about the ball.
((I have no clue xD))
Susena had not as of yet heard about the dead selected girl, and her only thoughts of the ball were that she would have to discuss with Riley what she would like to wear. And then she'd have to make the dress, of course. She didn't plan on going, as who would want to dance with her? The notion was laughable.

And then she'd have to make the dress, of course. She didn't plan on going, as who would want to dance with her? The notion was laughable.
Cecily imagined her in the beautiful black dress she'd wear and Casper in a matching suit with a black rose to give her. They'd dance and laugh, if she didn't get upset or tell him she wasn't going with him again. Everything would be great. Then she went back to cleaning. When she finished the saddle she just swept.
She hummed quietly to herself as she arranged the hay carefully. It would be nice to have a quiet night alone, while everyone else was at the ball.
Outside was muddy and Cecily's heels weren't agreeing with the weather. She knew changing would've been a good idea but this dress was washable so she didn't mind. But she did take off her heels and held them in her hand, letting brown liquid splatter her feet. Luckily some riding outfits were in a closet in the stables which she could possibly wear. No longer was she holding Casper's hand but racing up the hill which lead to the place. Somewhere was a pathway but they didn't take the time to find it.
"I don't know. All I know is I'm getting some riding boots." Cecily said, bluntly. " You can wear your current outfit, it is fine. If I can ride in a dress, you can ride in that." Soon the stables lights were in sight and they were only half a minute away.
Cecily ignored Casper's comment and continued to skip downhill until she got to the door where some guards were leaning up against the wooden stable talking & laughing. She smiled as she past them. Her beautiful dress was all dirty but luckily it could be cleaned. "I want to use Honey." She said. "You can use Flasher."
Cecily lazily pointed to a stall with the name Flasher engraved into it. It was number 7 out of the entire stable. She then put her heels next to Casper's tie and bent underneath the shelf and pulled out a deep chest, filled with extra riding boots. Picking the best ones she walked over to Honey's stable. A beautiful horse she was. Flasher was a dark black and very loyal, the horse Casper would be riding, meanwhile Honey was white and playful.
Cecily got Honey ready to go and took her out of the stall. "Yes, I am." She replied.
Then she walked her horse into the high grass which lead out to a roaming area and also a training coarse.
"The question is, are you?" Her voice was sharp and competitive.
When she got out far enough she got onto her horse and waited for Casper to start trotting out.
Cecily laughed and began to trot, then pulled hard and her horse went flying. "Catch me if you can." She called into the wind as she laughed continuously.
When Casper caught up to her she kept up with him, not going faster, not going slower. She smiled when the 2 horses were right next to each other, stepping at the same pace, very quickly.
"I am a butterfly that was once trapped in a jug but I flew free and I've never been caught since and right no one will be able to." Cecily said, poetically. She made Honey go faster than Flasher but allowed Casper to catch up.
"Because I let you." Cecily said teasingly as she made her horse slow down when they got to an obstacle course. "I'll do some jumps."She made her way over and started the challenge.
When Casper called out do it Cecily did. Her horse, with her on its back, flew over to jump gracefully and she landed safely."I did." She said.
