James Morcan | 11380 comments Excerpt from The Orphan Conspiracies: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy:

On the international roster, Bilderbergers have included leaders of almost every Western nation, Swiss bankers, EU Commissioners and Royalty. Among past and present attendees are current Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and Margaret Thatcher, the King of Spain Juan Carlos I and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.

In 2013, current British Prime Minister David Cameron came under fire from the British press for attending a Bilderberg conference in Watford, England. On June 7, 2013, leading UK newspaper The Daily Mail reported that Cameron would “take part in a debate on the global economy” and that Downing Street said they “will not give details of what is discussed”.

Prime Minister Cameron also refused to provide any details of the time and day he would attend the conference – and this only a short while after promising the British public he would lead the “most open and transparent government in the world.”

In recent years with the economic rise of the East, the Bilderberg Group has for the first time begun inviting leading business and political figures from Asia, especially Japanese and Chinese citizens.

"Nine had heard whisperings that the secretive Bilderberg Group was effectively the World Government, undermining democracy by influencing everything from nations’ political leaders to the venue for the next war. He recalled persistent rumors and confirmed media reports that the Bilderberg Group had such luminaries as Barack Obama, Prince Charles, Bill Gates, Rupert Murdoch, Tony Blair, Bill and Hillary Clinton, George Bush Sr. and George W. Bush. Other Bilderberg members sprung forth from Nine’s memory bank. They included the founders and CEOs of various multinational corporations like Facebook, BP, Google, Shell and Amazon, as well as almost every major financial institution on the planet." –The Ninth Orphan

It's a civilised talking-shop. The more countries and people talk the less likelihood there is of yet more war, more conflict. Isn't it good to talk?

Hyrum (sewahatchi) | 13 comments After reading some more about this topic, I have a strange feeling about it. Many of the people "protesting" at the Bilderberg meetings are probably planted by intelligence agencies, to help spread the rumors and give it publicity. These people have the ability to hide if they really wanted to keep their meetings a secret.

When it's official diplomacy, yes. But if the Bilderbergs are talking about political policy, then it's illegal, due to the Logan Act, which is the problem with the secretive meetings they have.

The Logan Act is a U.S. law which was passed by President John Adams in 1799 (last amended in 1994). The act states that American citizens cannot negotiate with foreign officials without the authorization of the U.S. Government.

The text of the act reads, "Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”

Well, that's the whole point. Not too long ago the Bilderbergers were completely unknown outside of conspiracy circles, and therefore their meetings were indeed secret and hidden.

The more people became aware of them, the more well known they have become in the mainstream and the more protests at their meetings there have been.

So I've no doubt they now have other secret meetings outside of the now well known Bilderberg group!

I totally agree. My personal conclusion is that the intelligence agencies (information controllers) want to control the narrative for all demographics, including the people who don't believe the mainstream view (me). This is why I don't believe the mainstream "conspiracy theory" view of groups such as bilderberg, satan worshipers, illuminati, CFR...

I tried explaining this in more detail in the following article:

Yeah, it's a bit mad how conspiracies become mainstream and then find themselves being completely different conspiracies because they've been 'allowed' to become popular!

I'll have a read of your article sometime. Cheers.
