The "Intentional" Christian Reading Challenge discussion

I listened to this on audio and the narrator was great. This book was read for my church book club. A tough read on Spiritual Warfare. Lewis really does this well from Satan's point of view. The consensus of my book club was this was a 3.5/5* book for the first time reading. For those that read it before and didn't like it so much or didn't finish it; the 2nd time reading was a 5*. I agree.

I agree with your last sentence. I read this for the second time this year as part of a book club and enjoyed it immensely. I don't remember it making any impact on me when I first read it 30 years ago.

Hope, I think it has a lot to do with our frame of mind when reading it.
