1. It was a paper book as I read it when the book was first released. Yes, I have seen the movie but it was years after reading the book. Of course I liked the book better.

2. This was the first book I read by the author - it was the first book that was released and promoted by the author in the US. I have read other books by the author.

3. I thought the characters were all well-developed and all were important to the storyline.

5. I very much enjoyed this book - loved the history and getting the time/place/tone so I felt like I was there.

6. Yes, I thought the ending was fitting the story and shows why the book won several awards.
