Claudia Fosca Stahl (claudiafoscastahl) | 32 comments The Upside of Falling by Meghan Quinn made me ugly cry. I think I’m not over it yet, and it’s been two months. I haven’t been able to read The Downside of Love yet.

Recently, I cried while reading Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels, Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren and Keepsake by Sarina Bowen (for the third time!!!).

message 4: by Darvina (new)

message 6: by Cristina (new)

Cristina (cristinakriss) Bright side by Kim Holden - especially on the last chapters, I couldn’t properly read because I kept crying and crying ( it was the only book that I’ve cried so bad ) . And as well A thousand boy kisses by Tillie Cole - sad story :( . P.S. I tend to avoid sad stories that make me cry 😭. After such books I can’t recover - they remind me of the ugly parts of life and how cruel it is when our dear ones one day might disappear in a blink of an eye without having the possibility to enjoy more time with them 😢

Me too. Bright side is one of my favourite books. And a thousand kiss!! They made me cry really hard.

message 8: by Tanya (new)

Tanya Jarvis | 24 comments I don’t mind ugly crying in a book so long as I get a happy ending but I avoid at all costs sad books with even sadder endings.... I desperately need to be happy at the end of whatever I’ve read.

Some books that made me ugly cry are say you’ll stay and say you want me by Corinne Michaels. (Getting through the first 10% I’d say you’ll stay was a challenge).
Another book that really got me was thin love by eden butler

message 9: by Louise (new)

Louise Hall (louisehallbooks) The Promise by Melody Grace - I started crying about halfway through and was a total mess by the end.
Kiro’s Emily by Abbi Glines
One Day by David Nicholls
Wish You Were Here by Renee Carlino - I made the mistake of reading this by the pool on holiday and must have looked really weird sitting there with tears streaming down my cheeks

Steph's Romance Book Talk (stephsromancebooktalk) | 17 comments Well I know where to go when I feel the need to be all in my emotions!! So many great suggestions!

For me most of Corinne Michaels books can get the tears flowing some way or another. Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole did me in and I vlogged while reading it so those emotions were very public. Bright Side by Kim Holden Bright Side (Bright Side, #1) by Kim Holden got me good!! Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan Long Shot (Hoops, #1) by Kennedy Ryan did me IN!!! The audiobook was just soooo emotional. Meghan Quinn even with her funny rom coms can get my tears flowing (cough, cough The Mother Road by Meghan Quinn )
