"Uh– no? I've never watched bad teen movies." Or good ones, for that matter, he thinks, but doesn't say, because Hwijae doesn't need to know about any part of Daewon's less-than-ideal teenage life. "I'm not judging you, though. Still not as weird as some people."
Even just thinking about those ridiculous comments Hwijae had told him about made him almost laugh. He'd actually looked at comments about him for the first time in a while, after what the younger had said, and he'd discovered that those examples hadn't even been the worst of the lot.
Then Hwijae takes his hand and pulls him out of the way of the crowd, and Daewon thinks that for all his whining, he really does act like a kid. Holding hands "No, but you don't look like you want me to disturb your peace, so I'll just go get a coffee and head back to practice." And yet he doesn't move away, but he doesn't sit either. He feels like he should stay, talk to Hwijae, but he also knows that it will be more appreciated if he leaves. He should leave, practically, because the top two members of CGD48 in the one place is bound to attract attention.
