What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I may be remembering it totally wrong but there were two friends that lived near an art school of sorts and would go down to the school's cafe and hang out. There was also either a professor or famous sculptor who lived nearby and they would climb the fence into the sculpture garden and hang out. One of the girls was a little more... not crazy but daring than the other and it ends up getting her in trouble. I read it about 8 years ago, and it was probably a few years old already (I borrowed it form someone so I have no idea when it actually came out). I also want to say the cover was mostly pink?? Please help- TIA!!
