What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Basically this girl gets shipped to a boarding school and meets a group of people. They try to uncover a mystery of people dying in the school I think. The book started off where the mc was at a party. I remember on the way to get to the school she was on a plane and a creepy guy was sitting next to her, which turned out to be the principal or headmaster. The cover of the book was purple and I think had a one word title. I read it around 2014.
