College Romance discussion

Ok, so I cannot remember for the life of me if this book was set initially in college or not...basically, it.s about a woman whose husband died and his last wish was for her to take his brother in. His brother went to jail and after he got out, he started living in his brother.s house...I only read the first chapter, a few years ago, and I remember she was really afraid of him...can you please, please, pleaaaaaseee help me find this book?
