Hi, I'm Elizabeth. Otis and I started Goodreads more than ten years ago--time flies! I wanted to start this podcast and group because I'm always looking for meaningful books. What better way to get some highly vetted recommendations than by asking people I admire what books impacted them? Everyone is welcome here. Please share.

Ashley Glovasky (aglovasky) | 1 comments On my own Two Feet by Amy Purdy. Amy Purdy is a Paralympic snowboarder who lost both her legs below the knee at the age of 19 because of bacterial meningitis. The book is very inspirational and Amy Purdy is my hero. Her book is a powerful story of hope and strength. I think everyone should read it. To Kill a Mockingbird has also had a lasting impact on me for obvious reasons.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) I don't have an apple account by the way. What should I do?

It hasn't been added to Apple Podcasts yet, but it will be soon! We'll post an update here.

You don't need an Apple account in order to listen; you can listen to episodes in the Google Play store, Spotify, TuneIn, and Stitcher.

Oh great! Thank you!

Lisa | 1 comments Hello! I just discovered the podcast and have already plowed through all of the episodes! Thank you for all of the work to produce and provide the podcast and share these interviews and resources with us. I just finished Anne Lamott's Almost Everything: Notes on Hope Almost Everything: Notes on Hope today. I love all of her work. I also loved When Breath Becomes Air when I read that last year. I've added several new books to my TBR list as a result of the podcasts. Thank you!
