I know I’m way ahead of schedule but I couldn’t put this down. I loved this book. I cried a lot!

I read your comment the other day and for some reason I was thinking it was Colleen that said she had finished it and I mentioned it in my videos that I just filmed. I just finished the book. I liked the stories of love, friendship and faith as well as the characters. Miriam was my favorite character and I especially loved the friendship betwen her and Angel.
On the other hand, I felt the book was too long with repetitions (Angel trying to get away from Michael many many times ).
I was not a fan of the writing style either. I am not sure if I will read another book by Francine Rivers, maybe one of her shorter books ;)
Therefore, I gave the book three stars.

Somehow I got a week ahead so I just finished it as well. I really enjoyed it. I teared up a little, and I don’t usually cry with books. I liked seeing the human side of Michael and Angel learning to love. I did think that the Angel/Paul resolution was a little rushed, but overall I highly recommended this book.

I’m so glad your daughter is home. I hope she continues to do well! I’d love to join on Saturday but I think we will be seeing Santa with my grand babies and possibly babysitting for them later that day/evening. Have a healthy and happy and peaceful Christmas 💜
