I saw this game that was posted by Danna which was created by Jess :D

It's kind of like that game wherein you continue the story based on what the previous person said, but with a twist! Let me explain.

Person 1 posts any sentence they want and the next person has to develop this sentence - but using Fortunately/Unfortunately at the beginning of every new sentence.
You can choose to use Fortunately/Unfortunately as you wish :))

Example:
Person 1: I bought a cup of coffee today
Person 2: Unfortunately, it spilled on my shirt
Person 3: Fortunately, my friend used a spell to dry my shirt
Person 4: Unfortunately, he used the wrong spell and ending up teleporting me to an unknown village
Person 5: Unfortunately, the village was abandoned
Person 6: Fortunately, I stumbled across some backpackers who let me join them

and so on! you can get creative :)

start: I was walking in the park with my friend. . .

Fortunately the first clue was very easy to find: a phone number left in the living room, which we called.

Unfortunately, nobody answered the phone.

Unfortunately, your ability to control water was like a magnet and caused all the water to flood the town.

fortunately, there was a giant plug in the center of the town that you and your friend unplugged in order to let all the water drain out of your city.

Fortunately, when you went back to your friend's house and tried to call that number again, your friend answered the phone.

Unfortunately, your call was interupted by static and a strange noise that sounded like voices came on.

Fortunately your friend told you "I am in the graveyard" before the call was interrupted.

Fortunately, the graveyard was not far so you started walking towards it as the sun slowly began to set.

Fortunately, when you got there, you found your friend

I think it's time for a fresh story! Here we go:

One day, we were in the Laboratory for Chemistry class. . .

Unfortunately, we had forgotten our safety goggles.

Unfortunately, in this lesson we were going to experiment with elements that could be explosive when put together.

Unfortunately, no one had extra goggles

Fortunately, my eyes are chemical proof because secretly I'm a supernatural frog with regenerative abilities.

Unfortunately, chemicals entered my eyes and everyone started wondering why nothing happened

Fortunately, I comforted my classmates with soothing ribbits.

Unfortunately, my teacher was secretly an evil scientist and now he knew I would be the perfect experimental subject

Fortunately, he lost us when we arrived in Idris

Unfortunately, we did not know anyone in Idris

Unfortunately, one of our group turned out to be possesed by a demon that we had now brought to Idris.

Fortunately, we knew how to defeat it

Unfortunately, a young shadowhunter came our way looking not happy about us being here

Fortunately, we found refuge with one of the shadowhunter families

Fortunately, they knew a warlock who offered to help us getting back to our world.

Unfortunately, the warlock was in his first year of warlock residency school with sub-par warlock grades and sent us back to a multiverse world where dinosaurs rule the world.

Unfortunately, we were not able to bring anything else with us except the clothes on our back

Fortunately, being a supernatural frog I was able to talk to the dinosaurs.

Fortunately, there was a portal that could get us back in our own time

Fortunately, we made it back safely.

Unfortunately, when we teleported safely back we landed on top of a pile of mud in the Sequoia forest, staining my new designer jeans that cost $300! Ugh!

Unfortunately, my friends and I got separated when we teleported

Unfortunately, night had already fallen and I couldn't see a thing in the forest.

Unfortunately, everything around you looked the same and you were walking in circles

Fortunately, the light in the distance led you to a modern city that is very advanced in technology

Fortunately, there were a lot of people so you decided to organize a search party for your friends.

Fortunately, we were able to find my friend after a 3 hour search.

Fortunately, they were fine and together we went back to the city.

Fortunately, they agreed to help you find your other friends.
