Greetings, Mion!As usual, I can't decide. So here is my short list:
Gene MapperNone of these are familiar to me - not even Slade House, even though I've read several by that author - so this will be a good exploration :) Hopefully you can find something that appeals to you from my shelves!

Hi Nikki,Looking forward to reading with you!
I am going to read Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. I have this on my TBR for October anyway, so it's a great one to read from your shelf. I'm not actually planning on reading this towards the end of the month but I thought I'd let you know now.
If you need any help choosing from my shelves, let me know!

Thanks Anne!!!Hello Kaviya,

Hey Amber!
There are so many amazing books on your list that I want to read! For now, I've picked The Talented Mr. Ripley up from the library and The Giver as well. I'll try to read these two first and then if I have time, A Wrinkle in Time as well!
Happy reading!
You all know how to choose amazing books to read!!Amber -Gene Mapper | Mion -The Talented Mr Ripley & The Giver
Chloe -Vampire Academy |Nikki -Daughter of the Pirate King
Alahomora310 -The Martian | Annie -Astrophysics for People in a Hurry
Mihika -The Bear and the Nightingale | Kaviya -The Forty Rules of Love
ENJOY YOUR READS COPYCATS!!!!
Hi Alahomora,I have decided to go with Astrophysics for People in a Hurry as it is a book that keeps cropping up on my radar, I hope you are enjoying the Martian!
Happy Reading!
Oops, almost forgot that I hadn't actually posted my completion here. Finished Gene Mapper a day or two ago. It was certainly intriguing, but I wish it had delved a little more deeply into the possible physics and so forth behind the technology it kept introducing - it would have gotten four stars from me if it had!
I finished The Bear and the Nightingale and ohh I so loved it....Russian tales have that effect. The writing style makes the entire russia live in front of your eyes. I want to pick up The Girl in the tower immediately now!!!!
Hi Nikki,Have you managed to read Daughter of the Pirate King yet?
Like I said I had a lot of my reading planned for this month so I'm picking up Vampire Academy tomorrow!

Dear Amber!I forgot to update it here, but I finished The Talented Mr Ripley. It was so much better than I anticipated! I'd seen the movie before and didn't really enjoy it. I have yet to pick up the Giver, although I'm probably going to get to it in the next couple of days.

Hello Mihika I did finally complete forty rules of love . It was truly mystical. Very few books take you on a spiritual journey . This book doesn't not advertise anything but accomplishes a lot. I am not a religious person but reading this book I felt maybe I am seeing religion differently.
"You can purify your body through abstinence or fasting , but only love will purify your heart "
These were my favourite lines.
I am glad I choose this book and I rated it a full 5 stars .

SUMMARY:
In this challenge, participants are paired up to choose and read a book from their partner's read shelf and compare how they each rated the book. It's a fun way to discover new books, to read from different genre(s), and to make PenPal connections. This challenge repeats monthly, and you sign-up separately for each month you wish to participate.
COMPLETING THE CHALLENGE
- Week 1: Review your paired partner's 'Read shelf' and choose a book(s) to read. Post to this thread to update your partner on the book chosen. (You can ask them for suggestions too!)
- Week 1-4: Begin reading, and post any updates/thoughts as you read.
- Week 3-4: Complete your read, and post to the thread with final thoughts on the book and comparing how you and your partner each rated the book.
Participation = Post to thread (book choice), Read book, Post to thread (finished book thoughts)
NOTE:
- Please only sign-up if you are confident you have time to choose and read a book. If you are no longer able to participate after signing up, message a Mod or update this thread, so we can re-match, and no-one is left without a partner for the month!
- Remember to re-visit this thread on September 1 to see who you have been paired up with for the month (adding a calendar reminder helps!)
