When there is no market for a product, it ceases to exist. If law and law enforcement made the punishment so harsh that the users of trafficked persons really feared the consequences, would the crime cease to exist? Or at least decrease to any significant degree?

I just read a statistic that said 1 in 3 female children have been molested. And that this molestation is the number one factor leading to a young women being trafficked. How does this make you feel?
