Daichi walked onto the only soccer field in town. It was way colder up here then down below in the town. The Mountain for one thing had snow on it still. And yet, Daichi was out in shorts and a thin tshirt, soccer ball in hand. He tossed it up and started bouncing it on his knee to warm up.
Lunia was flying over the soccer field and looked down to see that it was the same kind of field as she had seen before. Fascinated with the sport she had found by accident, she started to circle over the field, decreasing in speed and altitude. She was low enough to safely land when something tickled her nose. She wrinkled her nose, trying to keep from sneezing only to fail. She sneezed repeatedly, losing control of herself and ultimately ending up crashing into a boy on the field who had been bouncing a ball on his knee.
Daichi had been focussing on his bouncing, shifting the ball from one knee to the other when suddenly he heard sneezing. He looked around, while still bouncing the ball, looking for the source when the next moment, something - or was it someone? - crashed into him, slamming him into the ground, his soccer ball bouncing away to come to a halt hear the edge of the field. Kissing dirt, he blinked.
Sitting up so that she was straddling his back, Lunia winced and folded her wings against her back. "Ow...." she said, rubbing her head, then checking the rest of her for injury. She probably would have sat there longer if Shiri didn't land in front of her, tapping her to get her attention, then pointing down at the person she had landed on. "Jingles!" she exclaimed, bouncing up so fast her wings snapped out so that she levitated. "I'm so sorry! A-are you okay?" she asked, landing in front of him and holding out her hand to try and help him up. "I didn't mean to crash into you. I was going to land but the pollen in the mountains seems to aggravate my nose as it stirred a sneezing frenzy...." she bit her lip, fearing she was babbling and deciding to wait until he was up and okay before asking if this was soccer.
Daichi was was practically spread like the eagle on the floor of the Oval Office in the White House, sighed heavily. The dirt tasted strange, and yet it was his element so why should he complain? He tilted his head up when heard a girl's voice, and turned it slightly so that he could see Lunia hovering above him. That was before she landed in front of him holding her hand out. He reached up, taking it gratefully, and said, "logically one would not fly into the mountains if one was allergic and knew that there was a lot of pollen in the air. But then it seems like you didn't know, so I can't blame you I guess." He brushed himself down, sighing, and said, "it's a good thing I'm not a grouch. I'm Daichi by the way."
((Shiri didn't speak btw she just tapped and pointed XD))
"I am not normally allergic, so I was surprised by the sneezing." She admitted. "My name is Lunia, I was just following directions to a soccer field....I wanted to learn and someone said that I might find someone to teach me here.....this is the correct field, right?" she asked, tilting her head as Shiri perched on her shoulder with a bored look.
Daichi blinked, "Oh fair enough then," he said, his eyes straying to the shugo on her shoulder, before he registered what Lunia said. "Did you say you were interested in learning about...soccer?" He said, kind of loudly, kind of excitedly, and definitely with anticipation.
Lunia nodded. "Ah, yes actually. I discovered the sport by chance on my.....travels, and I've always wanted to learn more and possibly learn to play." she admitted.
"Excellent, excellent, well that's great, great, wonderful," he said, not really able to contain his excitement because when it came to soccer, well...if Daichi got started, then Daichi didn't shut up. "And you landed on the right person, I am the man to talk to!"
Lunia grinned and said brightly, "It must have been fate then! Why else would I have sneezed suddenly and crashed into you if not to receive instruction by you for soccer?"
"I don't know about fate, it seems too...unreliable to me, but since you're not allergic to anything, maybe it was just a strange coincidence, after all you had been flying above, perhaps it was cold?" He suggested finally, excusing himself for a moment to retrieve his ball before coming back.
Lunia tilted her head, eyes bright as she looked at his soccer ball. She was itching to give it a whirl after seeing it played. "Well, I'm not exactly prone to feeling cold." she said after a moment, then stuck her hand out. "Feel. My body temperature is always a lot higher than normal."
Daichi frowned a bit, "well fair enough," he said, though he couldn't think of another logical reason why she would so happen to land on him at that particularly moment, other than fate, but fate seemed too illogical to him. Then he brightened up, "well, whatever the reason, the best part is you found me and I can teach you, because believe me, sooner or later you might regret it..." he said trailing off knowing that his obsession with soccer drove everyone else off even those who had been interested in the first place.
Lunia bounced excitedly and said, "I can't wait to learn! I won't regret it I wanna learn everything!"
Daichi grinned, affected by her enthusiasm, he tossed the ball from one hand to another, wondering where he would start, "well, that's good to hear. Trust me, you will know everything after I'm through with you, what do you want to know first, or would you just like to get to kicking the ball first?"
"Mmm....well since I'm feeling rather overflowing in energy, maybe we should start with kicking the ball? Then when we're tired out, if I get tired mind you, then you can tell me some of the rules?" Lunia suggested, her eyes tracking the ball back and forth.
"Excellent, I like the sound of that," said Daichi already tossing the ball over to her. "You can start, and to make this more fun, you see the goals on either end there?" He pointed at the nets at either end of the field, and said, "see how many goals you can kick while II try and take the ball from you."
Lunia let the ball bounce off of her chest and to the ground like she had seen the soccer players do. She looked to where he pointed at the nets and said, "Sounds like fun!" She bounced on her feet as she waited for him to say go.
Daichi grinned and said, "alright, when you're ready, start kicking," he took a stance and prepared himself to steal the ball away, already in the zone.
Lunia bit her lip, excitement thrumming through her veins. Here goes nothing she thought, then took off down the field, mimicking what she had seen others do when playing the sport as she kicked the ball down the field, careful not to let it go too far ahead of her so he wouldn't be able to take it from her too easily, she hoped.
Daichi blinked surprised by how well she was doing. For some reason, and this was why others thought he was an ass sometimes when it came to soccer, he had thought she had no idea at all. It didn't take long for him to catch up to her and well, start joggin backwards in front of her.
Lunia looked up when he caught up to her in brief glances, her focus on the ball and heading towards the goal. "Don't trip!" she said with a giggle.
[[kks Night!!!]]
Daichi flashed a cute smexy grin and said, "oh I won't you just focus on the ball darling," he took position as goalie in a manner of speaking, in front of her. His eyes on the ball, watching it as it was pushed forward by Lunia's not-half-bad kicks.

Lunia almost tripped over the ball when she saw his smile and a blush worked its way up her cheeks as she paused before the net with the ball under her foot, examining her options and how to get the ball past him and into the net.
Daichi watched her carefully not missing the blush that crept up her cheeks. He grinned, wondering whether he should block her first attempt or if he should go easy on her first and let her score for the sake of the thrill of scoring so that she wouldn't lose interest. He was, of course, still worried that she would lose interest, and he didn't particularly want that.
Lunia strafed the ball from side to side as she looked for an opening. She wondered if he would take it easy on her or not, then shook her head and focused. She wanted to get the ball in the net, and that meant focus, though really it was a bit hard to focus when she would glance up at Daichi. He was awful cute...
Daichi was focused on the ball and when he noticed her looking at him momentarily, he flashed a grin meant to encourage her.
Lunia blushed again and ducked her head shyly before spotting a possible opening and kicking the ball towards it swiftly.
Daichi had decided. He would let her have the first goal. She definitely seemed eager, and though it was sly of him, he didn't want her to not have a taste of scoring. He lunged, but only far enough so that he was just short of blocking the ball, letting it shoot past his outstretched hands and into the goal.
Lunia cheered when she got the ball in the goal, bouncing around excitedly with her eyes bright with enthusiasm. "I did it! Let's go again!!" she said, moving to hug him in her happiness without thinking.
Daichi blinked in surprise when she hugged him though he didn't push her off him. He just grinned, and said, "congrats, beginner's luck. Though, I think you have potential."
Lunia blushed when she realized she was hugging him and stepped back, ducking her head shyly with a pleased smile at his mention of her potential. "I'd like to learn as much as I can. I want it to become my new pastime." she told him after a moment.
Daichi smirked, amused. "Well, like I said, I can teach oyu everything. But you know it shouldn't just be a hobbie. A sport as great is this needs to take up your life in some form or another. To be a true fan, you gotta get right into it, know everything about it from head to toe, and essentially think about it all the time," he said kind of going on and on, talking again in a manner that usually turned off potentially fans.
Lunia bounced and nodded her head eagerly. "Of course! I wanna learn everything!" she enthused. "I wanna watch and go to soccer games and cheer for my favorite team, I wanna play it every single chance I get! I wanna have dreams about playing soccer from how much I get involved in it!" Okay, so maybe she was going a tad overboard, but that was how hyped she was about soccer, hopefully it didn't scare him off.
((so I'll just be posting sporadically instead ^_^"))
[[^^ that's fine hehe I've kinda been doing that a bit myself today ^^" ]]
Daichi blinked, but smiled, eager, "well then that's excellent I like your eagerness. In fact I like it even more that you're willing to got to ever game and cheer for a team and have dreams and do whatever you can, in fact, I'll probably even start quizzing you, so you know all the facts too, and then we can have long conversations about soccer until I can't even breathe anymore," he said getting way overexcited. He wasn't even apologetic that he was going to make her life hellish. In a way he was testing her eagerness. Deep down, he hoped she was not turned away since he liked her so far.

((XD okay))
"I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was! To train hard is my real test, to beat you is my cause! Go Soccer!" she said, then giggled at her play off of the pokemon theme song. "I'm serious though, that sounds fantastic! Can we do all of that?"

He grinned, "you've got a long way to go before you beat me darling, but hey, I'm in for the long haul, and yep, we can do everything that I listed previously, because trust me, if you're going to learn from me - the master - then you should know everything."
Lunia grinned, her eyes bright with enthusiasm as she suddenly bowed and said seriously, "I am your lowly apprentice in the ways of the soccer, master." then looked up and winked at him playfully, in high spirits.
Daichi grinned, "well then you must call me sensei," he said, patting her on the head and laughing lightly. "I have much to teach you my young padawan."
Lunia giggled and said, "You went from sensei from japan to padawan from Star Wars?" she straightened to look at him more fully, a smile of happiness evident on her face. It had been a long time since she had been this happy.....she frowned as she thought that, not liking the unwelcome memories that stirred in response to her current train of thought, or the coil of demons within her that stirred in response to the negativity.
"Yep, don't feel like I should translate padawan into japanese, doesn't fit in my opinion," he said grinning in excitement, though when he noted the change of expression on her face, he frowned as well, concerned, "you haven't changed your mind have you?"
Lunia hugged herself, hoping none of her demons planned on waking up as she said softly, "I didn't change my mind.....its just.....thinking about how happy this is making me.....reminded me of how long its been since the last time I was happy..." she looked away towards the ground, biting her lip.
Daichi blinked and then smiled softly, patting her on the head in hopes of comforting her. "That's good then," he said, "good that you haven't changed your mind, and good that this makes you happy." Then he tilted his head a bit and said, "have you been sad all this time?"
Lunia looked up at him, her blue eyes warring with dark purple as she said, "I haven't been happy since I was kidnapped when I was ten..." she bit her lip and looked away again, not wanting to garner sympathy, she mentally cursed herself for saying why.
"Oh," said Daichi surprised, and shocked by this turn of events. She had been kidnapped? "You were kidnapped?" He asked, wanting to approach the situation as delicately as possible.
