A.L. Buehrer Hi everybody. I wanted to ask a general question, first off. How many of you read or write poetry? Most writers I talk to try writing poetry, but not everyone sticks with it. Most people who read it kind of read it as an afterthought. Is there anyone here who actually has a substantial poetry shelf?
Second, I do write poetry, and I finally put together a little chapbook, which I will publish soon. It's only about 6,000 words long and it has illustrations. Most of my poetry is dreamy and atmospheric, so if you like that kind of thing, would you be interested in reading and reviewing it? It's called Songs from the Small Hours .

Sarah | 9 comments I grew up studying some poetry in homeschool and have an appreciation for it. I don’t have an extensive knowledge or collection of it, but I like poetry very much. I would like to read and review yours, if you’d like. :)

I read/write some poetry. Most of what I write is free verse or altered haiku which I occasionally post to my blog.

I'd love to review for you!
