English Translations of Scandinavian/Nordic Mysteries & Thrillers discussion

The month of October we have five books being published so far, they are: 1) The Girl Without Skin by Mads Peder Nordbo which will be published October 1, 2018. Denmark. 2) Cold Breath by Quentin Bates which will be published October 11, 2018. Iceland. 3) In Harm's Way by Viveca Sten which will be published October 16, 2018. Sweden. 4) The Midnight Witness by Sara Blaedel which will be published October 23, 2018. Denmark. 5) Paint the Devil: The Wolf in Denmark by Christoffer Petersen which will be published October 28, 2018. Denmark. As always we will add books when they become known to us. Good reading.

Lars Kepler has their 4th book on Joona Linna "O Homen De Areia" in Spanish that will be published October 8, 2018, Sweden. Available now on NetGalley. It should be the "Sandman" if the order is followed.

A Land of Impossible Sorrow: An Icelandic Revenge Thriller by Gígur Hrafnsson was a September 27, 2018 book. Iceland.

Sylvain Runberg has a book out on October 17, 2018 called The Girl Who Danced With Death #3 . Sweden.

I've really enjoyed these novels. They make Iceland seem both frightening and alluring at the same time.
Looking forward to reading "The Island" next year.

It's a short story (80 pages) about a certain breed of seal, she gets into trouble.
