Hello kind folks,

Sorry this is coming so late this month! I've been so distracted and barely been reading at all in September, damn this reading slump! I'm sure this months theme will come as no surprise to some of you...

THE THEME FOR OCTOBER IS: HORRORWEEN

Read a horror book for the month of Halloween!

So yes, a little bit of an uninspired theme this month, but as someone who loves all things horror (but not such a fan of Halloween tbh!) I wanted to do this scary theme for October.

I'll be reading:

I'm actually going to be reading only horror this month, so my WHOLE October TBR will be books that match this theme, therefore I'm not going to name one book specifically!

YESSSS I love this theme!! I've been wanting to read more horror books, so this is the perfect way to get myself to do it 😄
I might pick up either Brother by Ania Ahlborn or Slasher Girls & Monster Boys by various authors.

A couple of the books I am already reading for the month are on Goodreads best horror list and those are Frankenstein and Rebecca.

_Frankenstein is one that I've meant to read for years. Also I don't know if they qualify but I also thought about Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights...Good category for the month..

I will also be reading a few different books this month all in the Horror genre. I will pick which one to review here at the end of the month. I love October!

I'm planning to read 'The Shuddering' as my horror book.

I think I'm going to sit this month out. Since I'm not a fan of horror and don't have any horror in my TBR pile. Hopefully next month's theme will work out for me. This is the first month where a theme hasn't worked for me. I'm still trying to reading my book for September. It just taking me longer than expected to finish it since it's massive and I have to balance school work with it.

I just finished The Fireman. I’m going to read, Something Wicked This Way Comes by none other than the awesome Ray Bradbury. It’ll be my first reading. I know I’m also going to get in as many spooky books I can this month. ☠️👺👹💀👻🎃🧛🏻‍♂️🧙‍♀️🧟‍♂️🦇🕸🌕 hooray!
