"We seemed content to be the chaplaincy to a consumerist culture that was fast losing a sense of what it meant to be Christian.""The long journey from a medieval world wracked with suffering but pregnant with meaning has delivered us to a place of once unimaginable comfort but emptied of significance and connection."
"The forces of dissolution from popular culture are too great for individuals or families to resist on their own. We need to embed ourselves in stable communities of faith." Then again, God never intended for us to live "alone"!
"It takes constant effort on our part to get out of God's way and let His grace heal us and change us."
