I would like to nominate Lolita
by Vladimir Nabokov, because it has been in my to-read pile for a very long time. From the children's list, I would like to nominate The Invention of Hugo Cabret
by Brian Selznick because the mixed-media format sounds like a fun read.

Oops, sorry! I missed that-- I was just going by the list. I'll withdraw Lolita and choose another one.
I will change my nomination to The Monk
by Matthew Lewis-- I didn't see that one on the Already Read list.
