The book that won the poll this month was Frankenstein by Mary Shelley! As this is one I've already read a few times in the past, I won't be re-reading it this month. It's a great one though :) Let me know your thoughts on it throughout the month, or what you think of it if you've read it in the past.

I won't be reading it either as I read it back in May/June. It's one of my favourite classics so I hope you love it as much as I did!

Pamera (jimera) | 1 comments I wasn't familiar with the original story of frankenstein so it was really interesting for me to read. i ended up giving it 4 stars. I really felt for both Frankenstein and his 'Monster'

Also keen to pick up the "Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein" which, before this bok, i had no interest in

Kristen Jiannotti (kristenjiannotti) Hey Everyone! I just started this after reading Rebecca for the first time.. OMG amazing was that one. Anyway, I started Frankenstein a little bit yesterday.. it seems to have a slow start. I'm assuming it picks up? Thanks! <3

Yeah I found the fist 30% or so very slow, but ended up really enjoying it.

Pamera - I agree, I think that the characters were definitely the strongest part about the novel.
