Koren (koren56) | 210 comments Frustration!! I let my granddaughter check out a book in my name. After a month the library sent me a notice it was overdue. I asked my granddaughter about the book. She left it out in the rain!!! Now I have a book to pay for. Sorry! No more checking books out in grandma's name.

Not good. How old is your grand-daughter. If a teenager I would have you pay back the money you had to put out. Of course if she is a young child there would still be consequences (and yes no more taking books out on my card). Happens in my Library too.

Fishface | 753 comments At my job that would earn her what we call a work chore. She has to work half an hour a day until the book is paid off in sweat equity, and for that terrible disrespect to a LIBRARY BOOK (insert steam-exiting-ears emoji) it had better be a chore she hates, like "tootsie roll patrol" in your yard.

Yeah, you don't want to risk losing your Minnestota Nice Grandma Card.
