I skimmed the first few pages of Confessions of a Convert last night and found the writing superb! It's filled with energy and power.

Yes it is. For me as a convert, with a few short sentences he hits the bulls-eye of what the experience is like. I'll elaborate a bit more when we actually start the discussion.
