What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

So it’s about a child (I think a boy) who gets an amulet/coin (it may have been his grandmothers) and it make him more aggressive/paranoid and he ends up punching a kid that he’s on top of. The coin/amulet was won in a game by a family member I think.
