did you think it was a good meaning of life?

Yes...to me it IS the meaning of life. But one doesn't usually know this until they have "lived" it. I think it is easy to change the way you see things over the years, at least for me. So when they found the meaning of life as explained by the father, it made perfect sense to me and that is why I hope my son rereads it over the years!

I think that the meaning of life is different for everyone. Every person has different opinions on things. The meaning of life that they had in the book made sense for those characters and that situation.
