Just wanted to share Tope Folarin’s tweet from last week:
I’ve waited a long time to say this: I have finished my novel. It’s called A Particular Kind of Black Man, and it will be out next summer from Simon Books. I’ve never worked harder on anything in my life, and I can't wait for you to read it!

It's a nice read, about miracles in a Nigerian diaspora church in the US. While reading, I grew more and more curious about how the story would end, and it does in a quite original way.
Folarin is an American-Nigerian author who was awarded the Caine Prize in 2013.
For all those interested, there is a video of Folarin reading sections from Miracle and his interview with the Library of Congress about his work and African contemporary literature.
