Series in a Month discussion

Personally I'd like to read the Mortal Instruments since we're currently reading The Infernal Devices series which is the prequel series to Mortal Instruments.

I agree with the Mortal Instruments idea, especially for the month of September. Come October, however, I think we should read something a little more appropriate to the month--something "horror" themed, per se. Personally, I'm getting into the Level 26 trilogy by Anthony Zuiker, which includes the books Dark Origins, Dark Prophecy, and Dark Revelations in that order; this is a relatively modern trilogy, however, so maybe someone else has a different suggestion?

I think that's a great idea for October!
