When Davy Hamilton's tests come back positive for Homicidal Tendency Syndrome (HTS)-aka the kill gene-she loses everything. Her boyfriend ditches her, her parents are scared of her, and she can forget about her bright future at Juilliard. Davy doesn't feel any different, but genes don't lie. One day she will kill someone.

Only Sean, a fellow HTS carrier, can relate to her new life. Davy wants to trust him; maybe he's not as dangerous as he seems. Or maybe Davy is just as deadly.

I have been on a YA fantasy rampage for the past 4 months. I am really surprised that this one has peaked my interest the most out of all the choices. I think it sounds like a edge of your seat kind of book. I am so here for it. I can't wait to pick up a copy! I have never really been into thriller/sci-fi/etc. but I love romance and hated main characters. I have not heard of this author but I am excited to branch out of my usual group of authors.

I'm thrilled for this one! 😊

finished: (view spoiler)[ I actually really enjoyed this book. I loved the scenes at the end between Davy and Sean. they were so sweet. i so happy they managed to excape the place together along with gil and sabine. i have a hunch that maybe they grow close in the next book (hide spoiler)]
